The 2019 Subaru Outback is a midsize crossover wagon slotting above the compact Forester and below the larger, three-row Ascent. All models now come with a 5.0-inch instrument cluster display, and the base trim gets two USB ports as standard.
Subaru Outback 2.5i

The base 2.5i trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, two USB ports, cloth upholstery, a 5.0-inch instrument cluster display, Subaru's Starlink infotainment system with a 6.5-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rearview camera, keyless entry, and Bluetooth.

Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited

Limited models add 18-inch alloy wheels, heated rear seats, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, keyless start, a power liftgate, and leather upholstery.

Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium

Moving up to the premium grade adds a 10-way power driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, fog lights, a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen, and heated front seats.

Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited

Limited models add 18-inch alloy wheels, heated rear seats, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, keyless start, a power liftgate, and leather upholstery.

60/40 Split-Folding Rear Seatback

The Outback comes standard with 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks - featuring available cargo area release levers - that provide flexible cargo space for all your adventures.

Power Rear Gate

Open and close the available power rear gate with the push of a button on your key fob, or by controls on the dashboard or the gate itself. The opening height can also be adjusted when clearance is limited.

Power Seats with Memory

A 10-way adjustable power driver's seat with 2-position memory function and 4-way power front passenger seat help make every ride comfortable for drivers and passengers alike.

Blind-Spot Detection and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

Using radar sensors, the available Blind-Spot Detection[2] system warns you with a visual indicator in each side mirror if it senses a vehicle in your blind spots. Available Rear Cross-Traffic Alert helps warn you of traffic approaching from the side as you are backing up, utilizing an audible warning and flashing visual indicator in your side mirrors and Rear-Vision Camera display.

Rear-Vision Camera and Reverse Automatic Braking

A standard Rear-Vision Camera enhances rear visibility when backing up. Its display includes guidelines to help you see the vehicle's path and judge distance to other objects. And with available Reverse Automatic Braking, your vehicle can even stop itself to avoid objects behind while in reverse.[3]

Active Torque Vectoring

Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) with Active Torque Vectoring helps provide sharper, more stable handling. It automatically senses steering and braking inputs to help keep the vehicle on the driver's intended path.
